We work to preserve riparian habitat along the Columbia River shoreline and provide protection for fish and wildlife. Public access is also a priority and we seek to secure long term public shoreline access through property acquisitions with current focus on The Bend Habitat Management Unit and Selph Landing historic ferry crossing. More robust support for these efforts has been obtained by working with groups whose missions are similarly aligned. Our advocacy has led us to approach and work with city, county and state governments and/or agencies. Finally, we encourage you to enjoy the shoreline! If you are looking for ideas check out the Chiawana Water Trail or the Sacagawea Heritage Trail.
